For the next two weekends the streets of Guangzhou will be awash with toilet paper wrapped mummies, kinky Disney princesses, stumbling zombies and a whole lot of fake blood. As the ghosts and ghastlies crawl out from their lairs to dance on the graves, where will you be? How will you celebrate this night of madness? 1) The Laboratory at the Grand View In Map
Start the Halloween celebrations a little early with the Laboratory at the Grand. Good Boyz Productions will be taking over the grand ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Guangzhou in order to give you one hell (pun intended) of a Halloween. With DJ performances from a full line-up of artists and giant projectors surrounding a state of the art 3D mapping and DJ stage this night is guaranteed to ‘terrify the skin off your bones’. There will also be 500 RMB in it for the best costume.

Looking for a Halloween that is a little bit sexier than your standard affair? Well, the W Hotel is promising you the ‘perfect chance to live out your fantasies.’ Dress as a sexy French maid, a sexy fireman, a sexy vampire - really just sex up any outfit - and head to the W Hotel on November 2. It’ll be a howling Halloween at Hooley’s this year. On October 31 they’ll be keeping their doors open until 02:00 so that you can cram in as many Halloween antics as possible before work or school the next day. For 100 RMB you can get six zombie shots from ‘spooky sexy’ shooter girls. In order to win some great prizes dress up in your best Halloween get up and be entered for the costume competition.

Is the new season of The Walking Dead the inspiration behind your Halloween costume? Well, it is definitely inspiring Le Saint Tropez this year. Head to the French restaurant for scary decor, Zombie staff, free blood red jelly shots, and a cocktail for the ladies. Keep your wits about you; you don’t want to end up on the menu.

It’s going to get messy, in a good way.
