China Internet Speed Rankings: Shanghai Fastest, Xinjiang Slowest

According to a report by Chinese company ChinaCache, the five Chinese provinces (or municipalities) with the fastest average Internet speeds are Shanghai, Beijing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui, in that order. The report puts Shanghai’s average Internet speed at 3.44Mb/s, and Xinjiang, the slowest, at 1.65Mb/s.

I was in China last year and I can assure you that the Internet speed as far as Broad Band is concerned is considerably faster than any thing which you have in the UK which alone is like a tortoise compared with certain places in France!!!
