Grab your umbrellas and layer up as the weather forecast for the next three days is cold and snowy.
Large parts of central and eastern China are set to be swept by rain and snow from January 27-30 as a cold front affects areas across the mainland.
Shanxi, Shaanxi, Henan, and Hubei will see a mild to heavy snow, with blizzards in some areas. Other parts of these provinces will see extended periods of heavy rainfall.
Heaviest snowfall will be concentrated in eastern areas on January 28, according to reports.
Henan and Shandong will also see snowfall and heavy showers.
Rainfall in the regions surrounding and south of the Yangtze River will likely turn to snow during this period, according to the China Meteorological Observatory.
