Apocalyptica, the cello-metal band hailing from Helsinki, will perform at Beijing's Yugong Yishan on September 7.Eicca Toppinen, Max Lilja, Antero Manninen, and PaavoLotjonen rock out on cellos but are also skilled students of classical music. These former Sibelius Academy musicians have sold two million rock albums worldwide and have performed in over 30 countries. They rose to fame with their first album of Metallica cello covers Plays Metallica By Four Cellos and have now performed with Metallica twice on the band's Rammstein tour.
